Three Day Pre-School Program
The St. Thomas More Campus traditional four year old pre-school program will be offered three mornings per week. Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday. To enroll in this class, a child must have reached the age of four by September 1st.
The pre-school curriculum follows the established Houghton Mifflin format that is used in the State of Wisconsin and throughout the United States. Topics and subjects of the curriculum include:
- The Bible and My Faith
- Welcome to School
- My Family, My Community
- My Five Senses
- Animals Everywhere
- Construction Zone
- Ready for Kindergarten!
Students attending this class will be fully prepared for Kindergarten. This program is based on oral language and other educational concepts that will allow the child to learn and develop important skills such as:
- Free Play
- Public Speaking
- Listening
- Bible Stories
- Letter Formation
- Counting
- Literature
- Music
- Motor Skill Development
- Performances
- Creative Craft Activities
Before school care is available for children four years old to grade 5 starting at 7:15 a.m.
